BAL Spinoff Wins Top Honours at the BioProducts Institute

Biogenic Architecture Lab spinoff MycoFoundry was awarded the Best Showcase at BioProduct Institute’s (BPI) 2024 Connect Day, held at the University of British Columbia. This annual research event brings together UBC researchers and governmental partners to celebrate sustainable research at BPI and highlight a collective vision for a circular future. MycoFoundry demonstrated mycelium-based materials,  including a prototype mycelium-based acoustic wall panel.  We are grateful for the UBC BioProducts Institute, the ATR program, Natural Resources Canada, and the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions for making Connect Day possible, and for your continued support of MycoFoundry!
