Biogenic Architecture Lab presents ‘Forest’

Please join us on July 24th, 2025 for ayigen/Forest, an exhibition by Biogenic Architecture Lab, which opens at the Ellingsen Woods Gallery on Cortes Island, British Columbia.

The inaugural exhibition of the Ellingsen Woods Gallery features recent projects by the Biogenic Architecture Lab that replace tired paradigms of scarcity and extraction with the reciprocal abundance of ecological systems. The opening reception marks the first event of a three-part interactive dialogue series that features Joseph Dahmen, Paul Stamets, Merlin Sheldrake, Randolf Louie, and others.

Cortes Island is situated on the traditional and unceded territories of the Klahoose, Tla'amin, and Homalco Indigenous Peoples.
